My name is Russell Mohammed and I am a freshman at The City College of New York, majoring in Civil Engineering. I am interested in the Summer College Internship at the
BWSO-001-Construction Engineering Intern as advertised on Indeed.com. I am currently employed at a pharmacy as a delivery boy and with an insurance company called Primerica. I believe that the skills and experiences that I have gained with AutoCad, computer programing creating engineering drawings and self motivation makes me an ideal candidate for this internship.
As a student in high school and currently attending The City College of New York, I have developed strong skills with AutoCad and computer programing. For example, I can create blueprints for bridges, house and buildings that reveal 2D and 3D visuals for the client at hand. Also, one of my main courses at City College is Csc where I develop different methods of coding to display on a computer screen in order for the computer to understand a problem or statement. My experience with AutoCad began with creating engineering drawing on grids in order to create the visual representation on AutoCad. For instance, in order to create a bridge I first created the engineering drawing with its exact measurements and transferred it on to AutoCad. In particular, my skills with Autocad, computer programing and creating engineering drawings wouldn’t have been completely with my self motivation. My dedication and motivation to take on any task presented to me allowed me to complete it at any means necessary.
My resume represents my skills and experiences that I gained in order to be confident in taking part in this Summer College Internship for BWSO-001-Construction Engineering Intern.
